Canada-based Enbridge Inc. is a leading energy delivery company in North America. Enbridge’s 2014 annual Safety Report was designed to inform landowners of the company’s performance and progress with regards to operational safety. Driven by openness and accountability, the challenge was to explain safety-related statistics and information in a relatable and engaging way. Using a tabloid format, the report mixes clean and colourful typography and illustrations to present the hard numbers and facts in a way that the general public can easily understand and appreciate.
